Southern California College Preparatory School is an online and hybrid school that serves students in grades K-12. We offer a personalized education experience with micro school locations to create an environment of collaboration, love of knowledge and support for each student’s learning style, educational needs and career goals. Our faculty members are enthusiastic and dedicated to providing a challenging curriculum, myriad social opportunities and close staff communication. Family involvement is also encouraged, as we strive to foster an environment of growth and development, both academically and emotionally.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

Our individualized approach is flexible and challenging, with virtual, hybrid and physical options. Material can be delivered asynchronously, synchronously, onsite or one to one in the virtual classroom. Students are promoted on a competency basis, giving them the freedom to move through lesson plans at their own pace, whether virtually or in-person.

Step 8: Enroll and Begin Your Journey with SCCPS

Upon acceptance, complete the enrollment process by submitting the required enrollment forms, fees, and any additional required documents. Once enrolled, you and your child will be welcomed into the Southern California College Preparatory School community, and your child’s academic journey will begin.

Step 7: Admissions Decision

After the interview and assessment, the Admissions Committee will carefully review your child’s application and supporting documents. You will be notified of the committee’s decision within two weeks. If your child is accepted, you will receive an enrollment packet with information on how to complete the enrollment process.

Step 6: Financial Aid (Optional)

If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please submit the necessary financial aid application and supporting documentation. Financial aid is awarded based on demonstrated financial need and availability of funds.

Step 5: Schedule an Interview and Assessment

Once your application and supporting documents have been received and reviewed, our Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a virtual interview and academic assessment. The interview allows us to learn more about your child’s academic needs and goals, while the assessment helps us understand their current academic abilities.

Step 4: Submit Supporting Documents

After submitting your application, you will need to provide the following supporting documents:

  • Official transcripts or report cards from the previous two years of schooling
  • Teacher recommendations (one for K-5, two for 6-12)
  • Standardized test scores (if applicable)
  • Any additional documentation related to your child’s learning needs or Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

Step 3: Submit an Online Application

Complete and submit the online application form, along with the required application fee. The application will require you to provide personal information, academic history, and any additional relevant information about your child.

Step 2: Attend an Information Session or Open House

We encourage prospective families to attend one of our virtual information sessions or open house events to learn more about our programs, curriculum, faculty, and community. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with our staff.
